THROWBACK THURSDAY!!! Grandma Time!

For this throw back Thursday we decided to share some photos of us and Jessica’s Grandma Fran. This month 6 years ago she passed. She was very special to both of us and we miss her a lot.

Also we thought we would share a few fun memories.

One of Brian’s most favorite memories of Grandma Fran was when we were freshly dating and watching the super bowl on TV. No one prompted Grandma but she decided to run barefoot into the snow bank anytime a score was made (by any team too, she didn’t care). Brian remembers saying “Wow, is she always that crazy?” Jessica responded, “You will learn to love her.”

One of Jessica’s favorite memories of Grandma was when we helped care for her.. again as tradition goes it seems we were watching the super bowl game. She wanted to make a bet with us for a $1 for whatever team to win. The moment her team wasn’t winning though she wanted to switch teams so Jessica asks, “Well if we both are on the same team, who gets the dollar?” Grandma laughed and said “You can have the dollar!” Little does she know we put the dollar in her purse before we left her house.

We obviously have a lot more memories with Grandma and we cherish all the wonderful times we had. We still watch the super bowl every year and think about her.
