Getting Ready For The Holidays!

Hello Everyone!

We hope you are having a good first few days of December!

Christmas is on the way and this is the more known busy time of the year. Full of shopping, decorating, planning, making more goodies and all that great stuff!

This year we decided to set our Christmas Tree up very early (November 15th to be exact). Generally we wait until after Thanksgiving but with such a strange year, we thought to just make it a little more brighter a little sooner. We are hoping that we will be able to celebrate the holidays as normal as possible this year but we will see. In a normal year we would have the traditional family cookie bake! We get together with our extended family and bake ALOT of cookies together, its an all day extravaganza of cookies. Christmas is typically spent with family, hanging out, eating meals and opening presents. We do a lot of shopping this time, watch all the Christmas movies we can and drive around in the evening to look at all the Christmas lights. We may miss doing some of our favorite things this year but there is so much we can still enjoy! We are grateful for that.

This time of year also gets us thinking about how different it would be if we had a child....How much more fun and busy it would be! We are really excited to be parents one day. We are a waiting family in the infant adoption program and we are ready for placement!
