FUN FACT FRIDAY!!!!!!! - Geode + MN = Love.

Happy Friday Friends! Another Fun fact Friday is here!!!!

Every year we like to go to the Minnesota Renaissance Festival. We have been doing this since we were very young; so it is a tradition to go yearly with the exception of 2020.

The first year we went we decided it would be fun to split a geode and we each kept our half. So in 2018 we decided to split a geode again to commemorate 20 years from our first date. When we broke open the geode we were pretty surprised to find that the agate and crystal formation looked like the state of Minnesota. It was completely fitting too as we live in Minnesota. It is by far our favorite rock. The more interesting thing is that had we cracked the geode in any other way, it wouldn’t have looked like our state.

We look forward to go back to the Minnesota Renaissance Festival in 2021 (we already have our tickets!) We are excited to share this experience with our future child and show them all the great things Minnesota has to offer.
